What season are you in?
- Embracing change
- Longing for the “old days”
I for one want to be dreaming and dancing in every season even if it’s in my mind. I never want to lose the dreams that God has given me to pursue. I want to be able to dance in His love at every opportunity and loving the love of Jesus.
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? It will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19
This does not mean that we should not learn from the past, but we must put it behind us to embrace the change of season. How exciting is it to know that God is doing a new thing? Each day can be an adventure if we keep our eyes on the present and experience the new things that God bringing forth in our lives. We cannot perceive them if we are sitting and stewing longing for the past, never wanting to embrace change.
Let us remember that we cannot live in the past or the future but we can live in the present each day with the purpose God has given us. Sharing the love of Jesus with the hope of changing the world one heart at a time.
We do not want to miss the opportunities that will pass us by if we are
longing for the past. Let us start dancing and dreaming to make a
difference not only in our lives but in the lives of those around us.
