We’re All Naturally Stuck In Our Earth-Bound Muck
As Christians, we are always being pulled in two different directions. The “god” of this world is constantly trying to distract us by getting us to focus on the wrong things, and to worry about controlling everything. Because we are human, this voice is loud, and feels most natural to follow. But, the God of heaven is also speaking. His voice is a whisper, more quiet than the first, but if we truly listen and hear, it’s a message of a grace that covers everything in love. But, we must let go of our control. Listening to the first voice is what comes naturally to us, and it’s much easier to listen to and follow. But wide is the path to destruction, and “easy” will never lead to peace. You will only find true peace and purpose when you put the Kingdom of God first.
