Faith interprets life in Heaven's light, not in hell's darkness.

When we are cynical about people, the future, the church or anything else, we are advancing the agenda of hell and hindering the work of heaven. Negativity can be a word that you speak to somebody, that's just a critical, well-aimed word from hell, to demean and diminish others.

We are negative because it's in our old nature, because it gives us power over other people, because we are frustrated that our will isn't being done. Frustrated people are negative people, and to live frustrated is not to live at all, it's just to wake up everyday and die a little more!

When you make a choice to quit being negative, you have made a choice that is going to change the course of your life. In Christ we have been given a new nature that trumps the old (2Corinthians 5:17), and we have to make a choice of which nature wins? Real faith is about seeing life differently now, and you see it through the filter of an Almighty and all conquering Kingdom of Heaven that has come unstoppable in Christ! - Dr. Drew Shofner

Feel your need for God, run to grace, believe you're blessed

God came down to planet earth and became one of us, to lift us by grace and truth to a life that is new forever. When we believe we are released from our slavery, we are released from all of the destructive gravity of sin. This gravitational pull is so strong, it drags us into addictions, it drags us into so many dark and broken places and produces so many broken relationships. 

The lies of hell are trying to drown out the grace of God, and the lies of hell are trying to keep you from finding freedom in the truth of God. But we are forgiven through faith in Jesus, and have a connection with God that leads to Wholeness and Holiness; all of life with no missing pieces. Feel your need for God, run to grace, believe you're blessed. -Dr. Drew Shofner

When you live without grace, you have to fake it 'til you make it.

There is only one judge of the universe, and we're not it!

Matthew 7:1-2 says, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

If you and I, in our arrogance chose to judge others, look down on others, de-value others, to diminish the worth of others and to not see the other as God Himself sees them, then we are judging ourselves and setting ourselves up for a day of reckoning!

How are you doing showing mercy to your husband? How are you doing showing mercy to your wife? Father's, how merciful are you toward your children? Children, how merciful are you toward your parents? How about at work? How much mercy do you show the people below you? Mercy triumps over judgement. There is only one judge of the universe, and we're not it! -Dr. Drew Shofner

If we are not a community of compassion, we are not the church!

1 Peter 2:10 says, "Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." 

Everyone who receives adoption as a child of God enters that new life through His mercy and grace. We cannot be a church of the living God and not live His mercy and grace. The real church is a community of compassion, if we are not a community of compassion, we are not the church! Listen deeply.
