Would you like to learn a new skill this year? Are you a music or podcast enthusiast and want to get some hands-on experience with recording? Perhaps you just want to know what it's like to record in a studio environment. We are excited to offer you the opportunity to register for our Winter Worship Workshop featuring a Studio Recording Class.

This six-week class will offer the fundamentals of studio recording, learning essential techniques and industry best practices from experienced professionals. It will cover studio equipment, microphone selection and placement, tracking techniques, mixing basics, understanding acoustics, and troubleshooting common recording issues.

This 90-minute class will run weekly from Thursday, February 22 through Thursday, March 28. Class times are 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.

The cost to sign up is $250/person. The price includes professional software, an audio interface, a microphone, and headphones. Laptops are required but not provided. Members of The Church at Severn Run are offered a reduced price of $150/person.
