Our New Pastor - Pastor Jared Burwell
Pastor Jared Burwell has officially been called as the next pastor of The Church at Severn Run! This is an incredible time to be a part of our church, and we are looking forward to all that God has in store for The Church at Severn Run. Join us this Sunday, March 29, for his first Sunday preaching at both services as we celebrate this new chapter together and show our support for our new pastor.
In January of 2025, Pastor Drew Shofner shared with our congregation and community that God has called him and his family into a new season of life and that he would be retiring from The Church at Severn Run. On Sunday, March 22, Pastor Drew preached his final sermon at The Church at Severn Run.Pastor Drew has been our beloved Lead Pastor for over 27 years, sharing decades of dedicated service to our church, Anne Arundel County, and beyond. He has been a shepherd and leader to the thousands of families that have been impacted through his life and ministry. The Shofners are excited to continue loving well, living Jesus, and believing big as God leads them into the future.
