Our weekend Kids Ministry is located in two general areas on the Severn Run Campus. Start at the Kids Welcome Desk in the Kids Atrium. This is where you can register your child, check in, and get any information you need from our friendly and helpful volunteers and staff.
Our desire is for children in the nursery is to experience God's love through safe environments and age appropriate care. Our nursery is divided into 3 age appropriate rooms. Infants & Crawlers (generally birth-1 & walking) , Walkers (Generally 1 year old who are walking-2 year olds), and Runners (Generally 2-3 years olds who are not potty trained). In runners kids will begin to engage in age appropriate teachings, worship, and activities.
Our Preschool Ministry room is generally for kids who are 3-5 who are fully potty trained. Kids move from runners to preschool at designated times throughout the year. In preschool kids will experience the joy of knowing that Jesus loves them and is their friend. They begin to explore worship in an age appropriate environment through elements like teaching, media, worship, crafts, and other activities.
Our Elementary Kids Ministry offers care and ministry to our families with children in Kindergarten to 4th grade, in two separate classrooms—Lower Elementary (K-1st) and Upper Elementary (2nd-4th). Kids will participate in a large group worship consisting in worship, drama and video as well as small groups where learning activities are utilized to teach how to apply Biblical values in everyday life.
