2019 Vision: Building Toward Extraordinary
God has a vision for his church and each one of us. If we want to get to where God wants us to be, we can’t stay where we are. God’s vision is for redemption of this world. He desires to bring us—and everything—together through his son Jesus Christ. In Isaiah 6:1-8, we discover there are five elements of God’s vision: a transcendent perception of God, a sense of glory in God’s holiness, brokenness in our sinfulness, gratitude for forgiveness, and passion to step up and be the difference. As God’s masterpieces (see Ephesians 2:10), we need to step up and do the good works planned for us by God. This includes participating in the four areas of focus for Severn Run in 2019: Connection, Wholistic Missions; Kids; and Students.
