It's not enough for you to believe a good story, you have to live one!

Whats your story

The Bible is first about a person; Jesus. It is a story that leads up to one story in Jesus, and that story reveals the very face of God on planet earth.

The story rose on the third day and the story lives in this day for you and I to choose not to live small overwhelmed lives about us, but to live stories that are awesome for Jesus! It's not enough for you to believe a good story, you have to live one! What's your story?-Dr. Drew Shofner

Speak words that build up, bringing LIFE to life!

Ephesians 4:29

Ephesians 4:29 says, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Do you handle other peoples reputations gently? Do you handle their failures gently or are you quick to point them out, to make fun of and to put down? When you see somebody else stumble, do you leap on it like a lion enjoying the next meal, or when you see somebody stumble is your heart broken? Live Gently. Speak words that build up, bringing life to life! - Dr. Drew Shofner

Can you imagine yourself free?

Let me write your story.

Can you imagine for yourself anything more that where you are now? Can you imagine anything else more than the addiction? Can you imagine anything else more than your unhappiness? Can you imagine anything else more than searching for that next empty person to try to fill your heart?

Can you imagine yourself free?

I can. "Let me write your story," God says. - Dr. Drew Shofner

We spend far too long grieving losses, instead of celebrating blessings.

Poor in spirit

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:3

Blessed refers to a deep joy of the soul; it overwhelms all of the darkness, all of the loss, all of the grieving and all of the woundedness. Scripture says to be Blessed means we get to live in an unstoppable hope.

The poor in spirit are those who feel, sense and experience their brokenness and who cast themselves completely on God's grace. You and I are called to live believing that God has esteemed us, that we are blessed. We spend far too long grieving losses, instead of celebrating blessings. - Dr. Drew Shofner

Refuse to live in darkness when you have been offered His light!

refuse to I've in darkness

Repentance is an invitation of hope to begin again; to start over and to not let anything keep you from becoming who God has called you to be.

Matthew 4:16 says, “…the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”

The problem with the dark is that you get used to it. Accept the invitation out of darkness and into His wonderful light. -Dr. Drew Shofner
